TRANSFER OF CREDITS

6. The number of regular students in institutions from which the student is to be transferred must not exceed maximum number of students allowed in the institution’s regulations.

7. The institutions from which the student is to be transferred must provide details of the transfer to the Ministry of University Affairs within that semester, together with photocopy documents from the previous institution as follows:

1) Transcript
2) Course Description

8. Private institutions may consider additional restrictions to Regulations No. 2,3 and 4 as considered appropriate but not less than the published criteria.

9. Transfer applicants / unable to comply with the regulations governing eligibility will be considered by the Private Institutions Commission on a case-by-case basis.

1) Transfer students must, as a minimum, hold a graduation certificate or higher.

2) Transfer subjects must be included in general courses.

3) For transfer students within the same institutions, the subject grade and credits should be comparable to the new subjects being studied.

4) Transfer subjects must achieve a grade not lower than ‘C’ or equivalent.
